Most massage treats the symptom. Remedial massage treats the cause.
If you’ve ever left a massage feeling better for a day and then right back where you started — this is why. Generic massage relaxes the body. Remedial massage addresses the specific soft tissue dysfunction that’s creating the problem. Tight muscles, restricted movement, referred pain, postural patterns built up over years of sitting, training, or doing the same thing with your body every day.

Solo stretching has a ceiling. And most people hit it within the first thirty seconds.
The problem isn’t effort — it’s physics. When you stretch yourself, your body is simultaneously trying to stabilise you and release. Those two things work against each other. Which is why you can foam roll every morning for a year and still feel like a board.
Assisted stretching removes that equation. You’re supported. Your nervous system stands down. We take you into ranges of movement your body hasn’t been able to access alone — safely, progressively, and in ways you’ll feel immediately.
Better range of motion. Less daily stiffness. The ability to do the things you want to do with your body — running, training, playing sport, picking up your kids — without the tightness that’s been quietly limiting you.

• You feel stiff when you get up in the morning and it’s getting worse, not better

Because bodies are complicated and ‘just one thing’ rarely covers it.
The hybrid session combines remedial massage and assisted stretching, sequenced in the order that makes sense for your body on that day. Sometimes the tissue needs to release before we can open the joint. Sometimes the other way around. We figure that out together.
It’s also the best starting point if you’re not sure what you need. Tell us what’s happening. We’ll build from there.
